Key Features
· Venturi Jet Technology: Uses compressed air (0.4–0.6 MPa) to generate negative pressure for effective gas extraction
· No Vacuum Source Required: Operates independently of the hospital vacuum system
· ISO 32 Color Coding: Clear gas identification for safety
· Working Indicator: Visual status display (color-coded or LED) for operational confirmation
· Multiple Mounting Options: Wall-mounted, panel-mounted, or concealed installation
· High Durability: Service life exceeding 20 years; rated for 50,000+ insertion/withdrawal cycles
· Leak-Proof Design: Medical-grade seals ensure airtight performance (0.4 MPa pressure holding test, no pressure drop)
Technical Specifications
· Working Pressure: 0.4 MPa (driving air)
· Maximum Pressure Resistance: 2 MPa
· Flow Rate: 200 L/min at 0.32 MPa; 300 L/min at 0.64 MPa
· Operating Temperature: -20°C to 60°C
· Material: Copper or stainless steel body; high-temperature resistant seals (>160°C)
· Connection: Dedicated gas-specific inlets prevent cross-connection
Intended Use
The AGSS exhaust terminal is intended for use in operating rooms, anesthesia recovery units, and other clinical environments where waste anesthetic gases require safe evacuation. It connects to anesthesia machines or breathing circuits via a waste gas collection tube and discharges the collected gases to an outdoor location away from fresh air intakes.
Installation Notes
· Mounting height: 1.3–1.5 m from floor; minimum 200 mm from side walls
· Requires dual connections: compressed air inlet and waste gas outlet
· Exhaust piping must terminate outdoors at a safe distance from air intake systems
· Compressed air supply must be independent, not shared with other systems
Compliance Standards
· ISO 9170-2 (Terminal units for medical gas pipeline systems)
· ISO 7396-2 (Medical gas pipeline systems — Anaesthetic gas scavenging disposal systems)
· ISO 32 (Medical gas color coding)
